Q:
When using a bus to send multiple tracks to an Input, I find it very easy to overload the bus. Should I compensate by recording at a lower level into Pro Tools?
A:
If your levels get too hot coming out of a bus, add a Master Fader assigned to that bus and pull the level down a bit.
