Mounting a FireWire drive on the second FireWire port of Digi 002 while Pro Tools LE 5.3.2 is up and running with a session open will cause the 002 to go back into standby mode.

from the Pro Tools 5.3.2 readme:The second FireWire port on the Digi 002 is not intended for external hard drives or other storage devices, as this may result in unexpected behavior. It is recommended that Digi 002 be connected as the last device in the FireWire chain, or be connected to a dedicated FireWire port.
