If the Pro Tools graphical user interface (GUI) halts, or becomes, "choppy", try increasing the Hardware Buffer Size in the Playback Engine dialogue. You can also try setting your video to 256 colors.Here's how:Setups > Playback Engine> Increase the Hardware Buffer Size.
