USB MIDI devices effect performance of Pro Tools LE 5.3.3 Win and Mbox

It is recommended that you disable onboard audio & MIDI to avoid this problem.To disable onboard audio & MIDI in Windows XP: - Right-click My Computer and choose Manage. - Under System Tools choose Device Manger. - Double-click Sound, video and game controllers. - Double click the icon for your computer's WDM audio device. - At the bottom of the General Tab under the Device usage pulldown menu select Do not use this device (disable). - Click OK and close the Computer Management windows.
