Q:
What is the best way to convert a 24-bit, 48kHz session to a stereo file for an Audio CD? (Bounce To Disk)
A:
Since an Audio CD is 16-bit / 44.1kHz, you will achieve the best results by doing the following:1) Bounce to Disk at 44.1kHz / 24-bit.2) Import the bounced file into a new 24-bit / 44.1kHz session.3) Add a Stereo Master Fader track with a Dither Plug-In.4) Set the Dither Plug-In to 16-bit Bounce to Disk at 44.1kHz / 16-bit.
