Pro Tools session translated from OMF via Digitranslator opens with placeholder clips (grayed out offline media), but the "Please locate" dialog was never posted.
 
A:
The only time you should see placeholder clips but not get a "Where Is" dialog is if the OMF was exported from the Avid with media offline. When that occurs, the Avid does not include the file names in the OMF so Digitranslator doesn't know what to look for.
