Digidesign StreamManager is required for use with HTDM plug-ins on HTDM-compatible Pro Tools TDM systems (such as Pro Tools|24 MIX and Pro Tools|HD.The StreamManager component currently supports a buffer size of 512 samples only. Future versions will support smaller buffers to allow lower latency when using HTDM plug-ins.Due to late-breaking technical challenges in the Pro Tools 6.0 development cycle, we were unable to fully qualify Stream-Manager and therefore cannot guarantee flawless performance. Rather than exclude StreamManager from the release entirely,we have included it as a beta component. Please note that even though StreamManager is delivered as a beta version only, we do not know of outstanding issues at the time of this writing.When it is ready, Digidesign will add a fullyqualified version of StreamManager to a later Pro Tools release and to digidesign.comTo install StreamManager 6.0b1:1. Quit Pro Tools and all other applications.2. Copy the file StreamManager into the Library/Application Support/Digidesign folder.3. Relaunch Pro Tools. Rebooting your CPU is not necessary.
