If you encounter an error when importing media files (audio or video) stating that you do not have the necessary access privileges,you will need to quit Pro Tools and change the permissions of the files. To change permissions for one or more files,switch to the Finder, select the files, choose File > Get Info, click the Owner and Permissions tab, and select your usernamefrom the Owner pop-up menu. You may need to click the Lock icon and authenticate your username to change Ownership.
