When installing EPROMs, please take note of the following precautions :

Please observe accepted grounding practices when handling components sensitive to static electricity.

Unplug the unit and remove the AD16 top cover.

Locate the two upgradeable EPROMs and note the orientation indentation at one end of each EPROM; this indentation should be facing the front panel.

Carefully remove the EPROMs using a specialized EPROM removal tool, and insert the new EPROMS with the same orientation.

Replace the top cover, and ensure that the AD-16 boots correctly.
