Q:
I have Windows 98SE and I want to install the Audiophile USB,
why do I need the original operating system CD-ROM to install your drivers?
A:
Windows 98SE does not have the system files to support USB
Audio installed as part of the core installation. Instead these files must be added. The necessary files are located on the Windows 98SE CD. If you do not have your original Windows 98SE CD, contact Microsoft Technical about how to acquire the files for USB Audio support in Windows 98SE.
