Q:
how do I set up my environment for DTDM and the ESBTDM?
A:
Now we need to make a DTDM mixer. This will
consist of all the Audio Objects that you want your native audio system to have including audio tacks, audio instruments, Busses, Auxes and Outputs. To make things simple in the future, make a new layer of the environment just for this mixer. To do so, click and hold on the layer selection in the upper left below the tool bar and choose‘**Create!**’. Now double-click there again where it says ‘(unnamed)’ and type in “DTDM Mixer”. Now go into the local ‘New’ menu and choose ‘Audio Object’. Double click on the Audio Object that appeared and it will turn into a DAE audio track. Look at the parameter window to the left and set the ‘Dev’ setting to ‘DTDM’. Then if you want that track to be an audio track, set the Cha setting to ‘Track 1’. If you want it to be an Audio Instrument, set Cha to ‘Instrument 1’. Do this as many times as you want DTDM objects. You can also make Bus, Aux, and Output tracks just like any other native audio
