Mac OS X does not have a System Folder. It does have a folder named "System," but you can't change it.

To add items such as fonts to Mac OS X, put them in your home Library folder for your personal use or in the Library folder on your Mac OS X disk for all users of your computer. (To change this folder, log in as an administrator user.) If you're looking for control panels to change settings, choose System Preferences from the Apple menu. Mac OS X doesn't use system extensions. If you need to use a Mac OS extension, install it in the Extensions folder in the Mac OS 9 System Folder used by Classic.
