Creating a Custom Keyboard Setup with Two Layered Voices on an S03
 
A:
Create a custom keyboard setup with two layered Voices.

1) Press the [MIDI] button.
2) Use the or buttons in the 'DATA' section to select 'Trans Ch' in the screen.
3) Use the [DEC/NO] or [INC/YES] buttons to select '01' as the keyboard MIDI Transmit Channel.
4) Press the [MULTI] button in the 'MODE' section to enter Multi mode.
5) Press the [JOB] button.
6) Use the or buttons to select 'Job:Init multi' in the screen.
7) Press the [ENTER] button in the Numeric Keypad, then press the [INC/YES] button to confirm.
8) Press the [EDIT] button once to turn the red LED ON.
9) Press the [-] button in the 'PART/ELEMENT/KEY' section, to select Part 1 ('P1' in the screen).
10) Use the [DEC/NO] or [INC/YES] buttons to select a Voice for Part 1. (Example: 'PF:GrandPno')
11) Press the [+] button in the 'PART/ELEMENT/KEY' section, to select Part 2 ('P2' in the screen).
12) Use the [DEC/NO] or [INC/YES] buttons to select a Voice for Part 2. (Example: 'ST:Strings1')
13) Press the button repeatedly, until 'Rcv Ch 02' is displayed in the screen.
14) Press the [DEC/NO] button to change the Part 2 MIDI Receive Channel to 'Rcv Ch 01' in the screen.
15) Press the [EXIT] button to exit Edit mode. Since both Parts are now set to Receive Channel 1, they can be played together as a ''layered'' sound.
