Q:
MOTU Issue: How to get a Developer's Kit for FreeMIDI, MAS, or Unisyn Profile
A:
Thanks for your interest in developing software for Mark of the Unicorn products. MOTU has SDKs available for MAS audio plug-in development, FreeMIDI development and Unisyn Profile development The process for obtaining a MOTU SDK is straightforward: go to our Developer's Corner page on our website at www.motu.com and click the desired link to download our developer agreement. (It's a PDF document.) Print it, read it, sign it, and fax it back to us at (617) 576-3609.
We supply these SDKs as is. We may periodically send you updates. As stated in the developer agreement, MOTU is under no obligation to provide technical assistance. However, we will try to respond to any questions you send us. Because we want to do our best to support all of our third party developers, the number of SDK's we distribute may be limited.
