The G3 or G4 tower models (Yosemite, or Blue and White G3s) ship with one or more of the following Hard drive options:

-6GB Ultra ATA hard disk
—12GB Ultra ATA hard disk
—9GB Ultra2 LVD SCSI hard disk with Ultra2 LVD SCSI PCI card

Unfortunately these configurations do not allow operation with most SCSI samplers without additional expansion. ATA IDE is different from SCSI and is not compatible with SCSI devices. Ultra2 LVD is not compatible with SCSI 0 or SCSI 1.

In order to operate with the samplers' window, you will need a PCI expansion card for normal or UltraWide SCSI (non-LVD or Low Voltage Differential).
