Q:
MOTU Issue: Mosaic Freeze Under OS9 (authorization issues)
A:
Versions of Composer's Mosaic previous to 1.58 cannot run under OS9. Contact customer service at upgrades@motu.com regarding an upgrade if you run an older version Mosaic. Make sure to include your Mosaic S/N, full address and phone number when you write.
If you have the version of Mosaic 1.58 that came with a floppy keydisk, take these steps to get authorized: 1. Download and install the PACE USB Floppy Enabler from paceap.com 2. Install Mosaic 1.58 from CD. 3. When the installation asks you for your keydisk, hit cancel. Mosaic should issue a "challenge code" at this point. 4. Email the exact wording of the challenge code to techsupport@motu.com using a subject field of "CHALLENGE" make sure to include your Mosaic S/N, full address and phone number when you write.
