How do I hook up my Roland VS2480 with a DIF-AT and an ADAT.
 
A:
1. With the power off on all of the devices, conntect the optical source to the DIF-AT and then the DIF-AT to the VS2480CD.
2. Connect the ADAT sync in connector to the sync connector on the DIFAT.
3. Turn on the ADAT and then the 2480
4. Press [Utility] on the 2480
5. Press [page] until "R-Bus" appears above F2, then press [F2] and the R-Bus config screen will appear
6. Activate remote control of the R-Bus jack that your DIFAT is connected to.
7. Press the F button for the DIFAT's R-BUS jack to display the DIFAT settings.
8. Set the input select to ADAT.
9. Press [Utility]
10. Press [Page] until "Proj" appears above F3, press F3 button and the "Project Parameter" screen will appear.
11. Set Master Clock to INT
12. Press [Utility]
13. Press F5 (MIDI) and the display will switch to the MIDI parameter screen.
14. Set MMC Mode to Master
15. Press [Utility]
16. Press F6 (SYNC)- the sync parameter screen appears
17. Set SYNC MODE to INT and set the R-Bus SYNC GEN. parameter to the R-Bus port you are using for MTC.
The RBus is now setup and you can press the [EZ Routing] button to bring you to the Routing section and verify that you have the RBus inputs routed to the correct channels.
