Q:
Can Sonic Foundry Vegas do sample rate conversion? I have created a project at 48kHz which I want to burn to 44.1kHz CD.
A:
Yes, there are two ways to do this.
First, the easiest method, is simply to burn the project to CD from Vegas. It will take care of automatically sample rate converting the audio. Second, go to File - Render as - Wave, and choose 44.1kHz and 16 bit, and it will bounce the project down to a stereo 44.1kHz wave file.
