Q:
Sometimes a marker in Logic is moved accidentially. Is there a way to fix the position of a marker?
A:
To fix a marker position you can use the "lock smpte position" function.
- Create a marker - Define a key command for the function "lock smpte position" - Go to the marker list and select the marker - hit the keycommand for "lock smpte position" A padlock in the marker indicates, that the marker is locked. It cannot be moved accidentially. Please note: Using this function, the marker is locked to its absolute position and no longer keep its bar dependent position when changing the tempo of the song.
