Q:
Why can't my Windows PC recognize my Apple IPOD with firewire?
A:
Apple's website sells a Belkin firewire card (3 port) which works with the IPOD on PC. Otherwise, check the Windows compatability at www.microsoft.com for 1394 controllers. We have found that just because your FW card's drivers installed automatically in Windows, it is not necessarily 'certified' by Microsoft, you'll need to check this list for compatable cards.
