I am getting distortion on the HI-Z (input-8) input on my AW16g.

By default the demo song loads scene that has a distortion effect inserted on this channel. Recall scene 00 and that will default the mixer and remove any effects from that input. If the distortion is still present, make sure you are not overloading the input and clipping, check cables, and check the other inputs as well.
