Q:
In the manual, it says that the S3000XL can load material from other manufacturer’s
hard disks. I have a Roland S760 but I get some problems when trying to load material from its hard disk into my S3000XL. The CD-ROM I have is OK but not the hard disk. What gives?
A:
When Akai did the compatibility software, it was assumed that the disk format for Roland CD-ROM and hard disk was the same, as this is the case with Akai samplers. It transpires that it is not and so, unfortunately, data stored on Roland format hard disks cannot be successfully loaded into Akai samplers equipped with this software (S3000 / S3200 V2.00 and S2000 / S3000XL / S3200XL).

If I want to enter a name for example, the FM-7 plugin ignores my QWERTY keyboard, and Cubase responds instead. i.e. I want to name a preset "Syn Rise" and as soon as I type "S" rather than "S" appearing in the name field, Cubase solos the track (S is the command to solo track). Spektral Delay launches fine, then I click on the window just once; it immediately crashes the program stating that the application has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. I have successfully installed, uninstalled, and re-installed multiple times, all the time confirming that the Spektral Delay VST plug-in is located in the correct folder within Nuendo. However, once Nuendo is launched, Spektral Delay does not appear as an option in my VST Instruments rack, nor does it appear as an option to process audio as a plug-in. I am getting distortion on some of my tracks on the SDR2496 when inputting optically @ 96k and 88.2k. I want to do a clean install of Spektral Delay 1.5. I am currently a registered 1.0 user. Can I download the new version and Install this with my old serial number from 1.0?
