Q:
What is MachFive's "UVI-Xtract" program?
A:
UVI-Xtract is a separate program included with MachFive that converts a wide variety of soundbank and sample formats into MachFive. It's tightly integrated with MachFive, so that operates as a seamless extension of MachFive.
UVI-Xtract allows you to convert and consolidate your sampler libraries (CD-ROM, Zip, MO, Jazz, hard drive...) into MachFive. For example, UVI-Xtract can convert an Akai disc, with hundreds of programs and samples, into a MachFive soundbank in one operation.
