Pro Audio Support

Q:
How do I make MachFive work in my sequencer?

A:
MachFive is an audio instrument plug-in. You will call MachFive is an audio instrument plug-in. You call MachFive up in your sequencer on an audio track, Aux track, or instrument track, depending on how your sequencer handles virtual instruments. Always use a mono track if you have the choice. MachFive will provide 2-channel, 4-channel or 6-channel output depending on how you configure the track output (4- and 6-channel outputs are also dependent on he sequencer supporting those formats).

To get MIDI into MachFive, you need a MIDI track (or instrument Track). The MIDI or Instrument Track must be record-enabled in order to receive MIDI from an external source into MachFive.

For complete setup details, see chapter 5 (page 23) of the MachFive user guide.
