Q:
I want to use midi to control a Reaktor ensemble....sadly Reaktor is not available as VST FX in the audio instrument list, but only as a VSTi so the sidechain box does'nt appear in the bottom of logic GUI.
A:
Please use Reaktor 4 FX as an insert effect. Then you don´t need a sidechain. In the Logic track automation 64 midi controllers are available which can be assigned to Reaktor controls. Assign midi controller numbers to the controls on the effect, activate remote and panel to midi out.Deactivate internal midi routing (all that in the properties of instrument and control). In Reaktor 4 the names of the controls will be visible in track automation.

I'm sending my samples through AUX A, and only the first effect is working. When I imported my drum sounds, they sound really weird. It seems like they are really high pitched. Why is the output of MachFive distorted? How do I control the Leslie rotary effect's rate in KB3 mode, with a real-time controller, on my PC2? I would like to set up Reaktor to send audio (i.e. from different instruments in one ensemble) to different outputs. |
