Q:
I have noticed a problem when trying to save a song in Logic 6 and Reaktor in OS9. If I save the arrangement with Reaktor as a plug in my Reaktor settings are not saved.
A:
In order to recall the correct Reaktor ensemble we ask that you save the ensemble within Logic. There is too much information for a Logic song file to save the Reaktor info too. So all you need to do is press the disk button in Reaktor and then save the ensemble. This will overwrite the original, so maybe do a "save as". Then save the Logic document and the next time you launch Logic the ensemble should be there with all the information correct. When you have one ensemble, two different snapshots, you have to save each snapshot under another name. Logic only remembers the path to the Reaktor file, not the snapshot info, that is contained in Reaktor's file. So essentially any editing must be done in standalone of Reaktor, then you save the file and open it into Logic. The next time you recall Logic the file will be there. Any changes to Reaktor in Logic can also be saved but not "saved as".
