***Possible incompatability with 40 gig Hitachi Deskstar drives and Alesis HD24***

The HD24 is compatable with 40 gig hard-drives, but we have seen some inconsistency with 40 gig Hitachi Deskstar drives. We have not experienced the same problems with 60 gig Hitachi deskstar drives or most other 40 gig hard-drives
