You can transpose in semi-tones by pressing the Transpose button and then pressing the key that you would like to transpose the board to. If you want to change the pitch 1 semi-tone, you would press the C# key.

You can transpose the unit in octaves by pressing Control then 5 while the display is still flashing. You will then see the display read 5 and OCT, you can then increment or decrease the current octave setting by using the up and down keys.
