Q:
How do I get my factory sounds into my Korg M1 after a hard reset or the batteries fail?
A:
You will need to download the MIDI SysEx (SYStem EXclusive) files (contact Korg and they can email them to you) and use an appropriate sequencer (computer or standalone) to transmit them to the M1. To prepare the M1 to receive these files, you need only make sure the MIDI Global Channel is 1 and SysEx receive is set to ENAble. Other than that, you will not have to put the M1 in any special mode to receive these SysEx files.
