1. Disconnect cables and power the Masterlink OFF
2. hold Record and Track Start buttons while powering the unit back up.

This will erase the entire hard drive. It will take a long time, because the low level format process scans and erases the entire drive.

You will need to reinstall the operating system from an OS CD after the format.
