Q:
My Roland keyboard controller sustain pedal doesn't sustain on my Kurzweil PC2. Why? What can I do?
A:
Some older Roland and Yamaha keyboards send an "All Notes Off" message (continuous controller #123 - also known as panic) when the keys are let up. Within the Global menu on the PC2 or PC2x, you can tell the Kurzweil to Ignore these All Notes Off messages (18 times through the menu).
