How do I reset the Mark of the Unicorn (MOTU) 828 mark II to factory defaults (hard reset)?

1. Make sure the unit is not connected to Firewire on the computer and press SETUP.
2. Using the SETUP dial, scroll all the way to the right to "Factory Defaults, push Select."
3. Push SELECT as directed and it will ask "Are you sure?"
4. Push "VAL" for Yes. After a few seconds of lights flickering, the display will reset to Factory Defaults Push [SELECT]. Your unit is now reset and there is no need to push Select again or to power the unit off and on.
5. Reconnect the 828mkII to the firewire port on your comptuer.
