Q:
How do I Set Up the Roland XV3080 for Sequencing ?
A:
When sequencing, it’s usually desirable to access the XV-3080 on several different MIDI channels at once. This allows you to control up to 16 parts separately. Use the following procedure to set up the XV-3080 for multi-channel sequencing:
1. Connect the MIDI out of your sequencer to the MIDI IN of the XV-3080. 2. Press PERFORMANCE so it's lit. 3. Turn the VALUE dial to select "PR-A: 01-SEQ:TEMPLATE." Note: This performance is preset for sequencing and allows you to use up to 16 parts (patches) on 16 different MIDI channels.
