Q:
What Adat optical format does the MOTU 2408mk3 use for 88.1 or 96kHz?
A:
The MOTU 2408 mark 3 uses the widely accepted SMUX for transferring Adat optical at 88.1/96k sample rates. This basically combines the 8 channels into 4 with higher sample rates. Your software should reflect Adat bank A 1-4, Adat bank B 1-4, etc.
