Muting Parts in a Standard MIDI File on the Roland G1000.
A:
The G-1000 allows you to modify certain playback parameters of Standard MIDI
Files. Use the following steps to mute parts of a Standard MIDI File: 1) From the "MASTER" page, press F1 [Mixer]. 2) Press F3 [Song]. 3) Use the DRUMS / PART knob to select the part you wish to mute. 4) Use the UPPER VARIATION [Status] knob to display "Mute." 5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 to mute other parts. 6) Press F5 [Exit] to return to the "MASTER" page. NOTE: These settings can be stored as part of a Performance Memory.
