Use the following procedure to update the G-1000 system software:

1) Turn the G-1000 off.
2) Insert the update disk.
3) While holding SELECT, GM/GS MODE, and BASS INVERSION (under MUSIC STYLE /
MIDI SET), turn the unit on.
4) Press MUSIC STYLE / MIDI SET button #2.
5) When the display reads "TURN INSTRUMENT ON AGAIN," turn the unit off and
on again.
