Your DisCover 5 can play Standard MIDI Files from an installed SmartMedia card or floppy disk. Use the following steps to play an SMF.

Note: The DisCover 5 ships with a pre-installed SmartMedia card on which you’ll find 105 SMFs you can load and play.

1. Press the SONG/RHYTHM FINDER button.

2. Touch SMART MEDIA to select an SMF from your SmartMedia card, or FLOPPY to load an SMF from a floppy disk inserted in your disk drive.

3. Touch a song title to select it.

4. Press the PLAY/STOP button to start playback of the song.

5. Press the PLAY/STOP button again to stop playback.
