Q:
I have an Ozone Audio/Midi Workstation. When running Sonic Foundry ACID 4.0e, I select ASIO, but it doesn’t work when Low Latency is set in the Ozone Control Panel. Does the Ozone support USB Audio ASIO within ACID 4.0e?
A:
M-Audio has identified a problem with Sonic Foundry in their application’s use of ASIO for USB Audio devices. Sonic Foundry is aware of the problem and is working to fix this in a future update of their application.
Workaround: Use M-Audio Ozone ASIO at Medium Latency or Microsoft Sound Mapper for the default Wave playback and record devices in ACID 4.0e. Make sure that the USB Audio Ozone is selected as your default playback and record device in the Windows Control Panel Audio Device Setup Panel. Please check m-audio.com for future updates in this issue.
