The Kompakt AU plug-in is automatically installed with the Kompakt OS X installer when running the installer in "easy install" mode.

Notice please that Kompakt should be authorized before using it as Plug-in. To do so, please use the registration tool to get an authorization key. Once the regsitration has given the message "....is now succesfully authorized, Now you can use the application" the process is complete.

Required: Digital Performer 4.1 or later. Prior versions of DP cannot use AudioUnit plug-ins.

in userfolder/library/prefences/Digital Performer

delete the file "AudiUnit info cache" and restart Digital Performer.

When restarting Digital Performer it now should rescan all AU plug-ins.

If it is not scanning for AUs, you might be using a prior version of DP.

Also possible, as we have seen this on our own systems here: the installation of DP is incomplete, the MAS pllug-in:

"MAS AudioUnit Support.bundle"

might be not present in the folder

root/library/audio/plug-ins/MAS

if this is the case, please contact MOTU.
