Selecting Music Styles on the Roland EM-2000 .
A:
The EM-2000 has 128 Internal Preset Styles and comes with a ZIP disk that has
an additional 441 Styles. Use the following steps to select Music Styles: 1) Press SELECT (under MUSIC STYLE / MIDI SET) so STYLE is lit. 2) Press a GROUP button (under MUSIC STYLE / MIDI SET) to select Group A, B, C, or D. 3) Press a numbered button [1]-[8] (under MUSIC STYLE / MIDI SET) to select a bank. 4) Press a numbered button [1]-[8] (under MUSIC STYLE / MIDI SET) to select a Style in the bank. 5) Press SYNCHRO so START is lit. 6) Play a chord on the keyboard below middle C to start the Arranger. 7) Press START / STOP to stop the arranger. NOTE: By default, style locations C31 - D87 contain "Disk Links" to styles contained on the factory ZIP disk. To access these styles, the factory ZIP disk must be inserted into the EM-2000, and must be the selected device.
