Q:
How do I export a picture file of my Coda / Make Music Finale or Allegro project for use with a word processor, web page editor, or other application?
A:
You need to export a TIFF file (a specific type of picture file like jpeg, gif, pic, bmp, and others). Here's how:
1. Go to the Windows Menu 2. Select the Advanced Tool Palette 3. Click the Graphics Tool 4. Select Export Pages (you can Export Selections too if you first highlight the area you'd like to export by double-clicking and dragging a selection box around the area you desire) 5. Change the Type to TIFF 6. Set the TIFF Resolution to 72 (or try different TIFF Resolutions until you find the one that works best with your application) 7. Click OK. This will now save a TIFF file of your selection or entire piece. 8. Import into your other application per your applications suggestions You'll find more details in the "Graphics Tool" chapter of your Finale User Manual.
