Quantizing on the Roland KR-570.
A:
The KR-570 sequencer has extensive features for editing songs. Quantizing can adjust minor timing errors in a performance. Use the following procedure to quantize a track:
1) Press MENU / 16 TRACK. 2) Press PAGE [<< / >>] to display “Song Edit.” 3) Press the [SONG EDIT] soft button. 4) Use the PAGE [<< / >>] soft buttons to display “Quantize.” 5) Press the [QUANTIZE] soft button. 6) Use the [+ / -] soft buttons to select the track to be quantized. 7) Use the [< / >] soft buttons to select the “From” value. 8) Use the [+ / -] soft buttons to select the measure where the quantizing will begin. 9) Use the [< / >] soft buttons to select the “For” value. 10) Use the [+ / -] soft buttons to indicate how many measures to quantize. 11) Use the [< / >] soft buttons to select the “Resolution” value. 12) Use the [+ / -] soft buttons to select the quantize resolution. 13) Press the [EXECUTE] soft button to complete the edit.
