This is usually caused by having a midi driver selected in Reason Preferences. To fix this, quit all applications, then launch Reason standalone. Go to Edit>Preferences and choose the MIDI option, then make sure no MIDI interface is selected. Quit Reason and you should now be able to launch Pro Tools and Reason in Rewire mode with proper MIDI operation.
