Q:
Can I use the EZbus with a PCI-based computer recording system?
A:
Certainly. The EZbus offers two ways to bring audio digitally into a PCI-based system: via S/PDIF and via ADAT light pipe. Simply connect one of the S/PDIF outputs to an S/PDIF-equipped PCI card, or the ADAT optical output to the ADAT optical input on a Lightpipe-equipped PCI card, such as the Event EZ8 Optical Audio Interface. You can use the ADAT, S/PDIF, USB, and analog outputs simultaneously.
