I see Mac OS 10.3.5 is available at apple.com, should I update my ProTools system to this new OS.

Digidesign has not completed testing for Mac OS 10.3.5. Therefore it is not recommended yet.
Visit the Compatiblity in the Support section at digidesign.com Because Digidesign thoroughly tests ProTools with all OS updates, we recommend strict adherence to their compatiblity guidelines.
