I can't get Live to start in Mac OS X. Every time I double-click on the application icon, it starts to boot and then fails.

Try repairing disk permissions by running the disk utility.

1. Quit all applications
2. Go to the Macintosh HD > Applications > Utlities > Disk Utility.
3. In the Disk Utility choose your Macintosh HD the click the First Aid page.
4. With your Mac drive selected you can click the Verify Disk Permissions button.
5. Once "Verify..." is complete, choose "Repair Disk Permissions.
6. Quit disk utility and restart the Mac.
