Q:
The faders on BFD's interface are jumping all over the place by themselves! What should I do
A:
BFD has a number of built-in controllers. We will soon have a panel within the GUI for editing these controller numbers. Until then, use the following methods:
Windows 2000/XP * Run Regedit (via the Start/Run command) * Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/fxpansion/BFD * You will find entries starting with "midiCC_". Double click on these to bring up the editor for the value. Change to Decimal base and enter the controller number you desire. * Your changes to the registry are made on the fly so just exit when you're done editing and the values will have been set. Mac OSX * Navigate to /Library/Preferences * Double-click on the file "com.FXpansion.BFD.plist" * Edit the relevant value beginning with "midiCC_" with the desired controller number. * Save and exit when you're done.
