Q:
In Logic, how can I redo a recording from the exact same location automatically?
A:
Just press record again without stopping. Or: there's a key-command "Record Repeat" that does just that but allows you to stop/listen in between recordings. I assigned the "/" to it, so I have the "*" and the "/" right next to each other. It erases the last recorded sequence and starts recording at the same place. Same effect as pressing record without stopping, except you can be stopped. For example: Record something, listen back to it, hate it, do another take without having anything to prepare. If you are recording audio, the Audio delete dialog box will come up.
