Can I transfer the Tascam SX1 or SX1LE projects to a computer-based recording package via CD Rom?
A:
Yes, but you must first prepare the session on the SX1 by making a copy of the project, merge all waveforms together (to create a continuous audio region on each track) and setting the start points the same for each track. Then you will need to bounce all the tracks (you can select multiple tracks to bounce) to separate wave file tracks. When you import them into your software, you will have a full-song-length region for each track on the SX1. The ISO9660 Data CD format it uses is Mac and PC compatable.
