How does the HHB MDP500 minidisc player / recorder show up when connected...

How does the HHB MDP500 minidisc player / recorder show up when connected via USB to a Windows PC? Can I drag & drop audio files to it? Why doesn't it show up as a drive?

The MDP500 does not show up as a drive and does not allow dragging and dropping of files.

It does, however, show up as a Windows USB audio device, giving access to digital transfers to and from your audio software to and from the minidisc. It will show up as an additional audio input and output in Windows and your software for realtime audio transfers.
